Instituted 25 April 1834 by Duke Wilhelm VIII. (Issued 1908 1918). A late war or possible post war production, in frosted silver, consisting of an eight pointed star, central red enameled medallion depicting a detailed white horse, within blue enamelled ring, in turn bordered by gilt rings and bearing raised gilt Order motto IMMOTA FIDES (UNBREAKABLE FIDELITY), topped by royal crown with a knights
