The pale copper colour of the wine is intriguing and the taste unexpected but delicious. The traditional floral qualities of a Rose are not as obvious here there are cantaloupe skin, bay leaf, plum and blueberry flavours instead. Juicy but very dry, it really is a Rose like few others.
