In silver with red, green and blue enamels, silver monogram of King Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, marked "MN" (Monetaria Nationala = National Mint) and flanked by "520" at the left and "42" at the right, along with a crown for . 800 silver fineness, marked "SILBER" (silver) and maker marked "CFZ" (C. F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim, Germany) on the ring, measuring 50. 5 mm (w) x 73.
