Japan, Imperial. An Order of the Golden Kite, V Class in Case Hold along with the symbol of( Kinshi Kunsh). Instituted on 12 February 1890 by Emperor Meiji. Showa Period (1926 1989). In silver gilt, a multi coloured enamelled decoration, the obverse portraying an eight point red enamelled star with three smooth rays in each cluster, the reverse in silver with four rivets, measures 46. 0 mm (w) x 49. 8 mm (h inclusive of integral ball suspension), weighs 30. 0 grams, worn on a correct replacement ribbon, cracking and fading to red enamel
