Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback and clasp reading 107 Chemnitz, the obverse bearing a central Saxon coat of arms, flanked on each side by lions rampant and three flag standards, above a plaque inscribed KGL. SASCHS. MIL. VER. BERNSDORF, topped by a banner inscribed EHRENMITGLIED (HONORARY MEMBER),
