The mid dark green foliage is serrated and turns a pretty shade of yellow for incredible autumn colour interest. Before the new leaves emerge in spring, masses of golden yellow flowers cover the bare branches from early spring. These blooms are lightly scented and boast chocolatey brown sepals at the base.
