Constructed of gilded and silvered aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, superimposed over a pebbled background, the reverse with a clip and swivel loop, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 56 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
