Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from a postwar replacement ribbon featuring period original BUG, CALMUCIA, and CAUCAZ campaign clasps, the obverse bearing a raised Geneva Cross overlaid by a hand gripping a sword, in turn flanked by a date of 1941, circumscribed by an inscription of CRUCIADA MPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI (CRUSADE AGAINST COMMUNISM), the reverse bearing a raised and leftward facing female
