Constructed of neusilber, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle overlaid by a shield bearing a raised mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of FR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR (FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER), within a circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 49. 84 mm in diameter, weighing 55. 8 grams, with minor
