A silver maltese cross, the obverse with an eight pointed star, with a central red enameled medallion bearing a silver nessel leaf and a Lippian rose, surrounded by a blue enameled ring, inscribed Fr true und verdienst (German For loyalty and service), reverse with a central blue enameled medallion with a royal crown and the royal monogram of Adolph George, measuring 15. 69 mm x 17. 88 mm; weighing 2. 1 grams,
