Austria, Imperial. A Miniature Order Of The Golden Fleece, In Gold, C.1900 GTRexclude and civilians for exceptional valour(Orden vom Goldenen Vliesz). Instituted October 1, 1429. A lovely miniature, in 18K Gold, featuring a sheep hung from its midsection, connected to a shield with red enamelled flames, and a blue enamelled arabesque resembling a crown, reverse mirrors the obverse, measures 15. 84mm (w) x 28. 95mm (h), weighs 3. 3 grams, enamels intact, a lovely decoration in extremely fine condition.
