A 1938 edition of Pour le Mrite Flieger (Pour le Mrite Pilots), constructed of a card stock binding, the cover bearing a full colour illustration of the eponymous decoration, the interior content consisting of 547 paginated pages featuring detailed biographies of First World War Air Force personnel who received the Pour le Mrite, supplemented by a number of black and white photographs, published in 1938 by Curt Pechstein,
