Constructed of silvered and patinated bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised HJ style German national eagle clutching a sword and mallet and overlaid by a swastika, executed in high relief and exceptional detail, topped by a banner bearing a stamped issue number of 590, with ribbed rivets set into both top corner, the reverse retaining a fully intact field grey wool liner, the reverse topped by two prongs
