E20141 Bedford OB Coach LLW837 Margo’s of Bexleyheath Class-33 BR blue/greyThe Bedford OB coach must arguably rank as one of the most instantly recognisable bus and coach types; its swept back lines and distinctive bull nose radiator helping to seamlessly combine style with mechanical practicality. The OB was introduced in 1939 as a replacement for Bedfords earlier WLB type and featured a 28hp engine with a four speed manual gearbox, a fully floating rear axle, and vacuum servo assisted hydraulic brakes.
