In Shinto, the ancient Japanese religion, this sacred mountain plays an important role. `Fu` means empire, `Ji` means warrior and `San` means mountain. The guard (tsuba) of this beautiful katana depicts on one side Mt Fuji and on the other side fighting samurai. This katana has a length (without scabbard) of 104 cm with a grip (tsuka) of 30,5 cm and a blade of 73 cm. It weighs 1050 g.
