The first hand stitched version had 8 colour stripes: Hot pink (Sex), Red, (Life), Orange (Healing), Yellow (Sunlight), Green (Nature), Turquoise (Magic Art), Indigo (Serenity), Violet (Spirit). A shortage of pink fabric led to pink being dropped and in order to hang it vertically
